Bruce Toien on Op Ed News writes: " So if I could sum up my impression of the Occupy Movement in one phrase, it would be this:"The Occupy movement is a critique of hierarchy".
A hierarchy is one in which there are leaders or a God that is above and separate from the foundations. The symbol of the Illuminati, which has also been used as a symbol for the United States, illustrates the primary philosophy behind our current day politics.
This symbol expresses the primary philosophy of humanity for the past 6,000 or so years. Inherent in the symbol is the notion that there are a few, or one, leader / God transcending the base that oversees and controls the base. From a political perspective, the symbol is saying that the leader, or God, is separate from the rest of Nature. Hence, we have 99% (Earth and Her creatures or the lower working classes) and the 1% in control (the Transcendent God or the Wall Street Bankers). Hence, in line with this diagram, we have 1% controlling the world, with us, the world's creatures and resources underneath as the 99%.
